In the Beginning...
Founded in 2019, in a little warehouse unit in Quedgeley, Dex Audio quickly grew to a well-known and respected brand. Catering to the UK's 3 million guitarist's and the estimated 700 million globally.
As the brand grew, we moved into a new space in Brimscombe in Stroud, Situated next to Felt Cafe and above The Ark Cycles. We pride ourselves in having a 'no judgement', easy going approach.
What We Offer
We stock second-hand electric/acoustic guitars, basses, amplifiers and effects. We have no brand affiliations and can therefore provide the most genuine, unbiased advice.
Our belief is that, just became a company makes a 'new' product (often just a different colour scheme) it doesn't mean that their previous products aren't worth buying anymore. Why be limited to a company's annual product catalogue?
Our stock has much more variation and contrast. Sometimes the 'next best thing' isn't actually the next best thing.
All of the musical equipment we offer has been thoroughly checked, setup and tested before they hit the shop floor, so you can have full faith that it works how it should work and sound how it should sound.
Our Workshop
On top of sales, we also have an extensive range of workshop services that range from setups, restorations, electrical work, re-frets or even just a simple re-string. This work applies to electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, amplifiers, effects pedals and other audio equipment.
Our in-house team are fully qualified and trained to ensure the highest quality of work and the extensive amount of our testimonials can compliment that.

Workshop Bookings
We now have a booking platform! Simply choose a service you require, the date and time that you would like to drop it off on and add some details about the item(s) you're booking in. It's as easy as that!
