'Dex Tech' is a subsidiary of Dex Audio based in Chalford Gloucestershire. 

Dex Tech consists of a group of "Engineer Musicians" with many decades of experience in Electronic Musical instrument design & manufacture.

The team brings together Electronic Hardware Design skills with expertise in both Analog & Digital design as well as PCB design & layout. The software group leverages years of software design experience using high-level C++ & C# programming languages, as well as high-speed assembly language coding & modern Digital Signal Processing.

The hardware design team leverage classic vintage analogue musical instrument designs, adding modern digital CPU control of a completely analogue signal path.

The mechanical design team are experienced in electronic musical instrument manufacturing, using state-of-the-art C&C (computer numerical control) machining as well as plastics vacuum forming to create modern products as well as re-creating musical instrument products from the 1980s & 90s. The group also have a total of 5 modern 3D printing machines for prototyping & production.

There are 2 groups within Dex Tech. 

Firstly there is a team working on Guitar Stomp Boxes of all the familiar types. 

Secondly, Dex Tech is happy to be reviving products from the classic Simmons Drums (St. Albans) company (1978 to 1998). This work is endorsed by Dave Simmons himself, who has also contributed to the projects.
