The Memory Boost
The primary design goal for this pedal is to function as a signal booster, however, we have also added a 2-band shelving equaliser to boost or cut the high or low frequency SPECTRUM of the input signal.
The Memory Boost uses 4 pots to program the sound. There are 2 pots to adjust the input signals low frequency content. One pot selects the low frequency cut-off, while the second adjusts the low frequency boost or cut. In the same way, there are 2 pots to adjust the high frequency response.
The Low equaliser will allow a boost of up to 20dB (or 10 times the input signal). The frequency can be swept from 218Hz up to 6.8KHz. The High Equalizer again allows a boost of up to 20dB, with a sweep from 20KHz down to 784Hz.
The equaliser section allows you to program a nice "smile" EQ to your sound, or just keep the frequency response flat, it's up to you.
The EXPRESSION input can be connected to an external Volume pedal for further control of the gain of the Memory Boost.
