The 'Memory Delay' takes its inspiration from the classic 'Boss DD3' delay pedal but adds all the features of the Dex Memory range. There are 3 pots on the Memory delay. The first pot varies the mix between direct & delayed sound. This enables the unit to be added to the FX loop in an audio signal as the dry signal can be eliminated from the output.
The second pot varies the echo feedback, whilst the 3rd changes the delay between 0 & 1.28 seconds. The delay can also be programmed via the TAP input. The TAP jack should be connected to an external footswitch. When the footswitch is tapped twice (or more times), the unit adjusts it’s delay to match the tapped tempo. Using the TAP input, delays of longer than 1.28 seconds can be programmed.
A second set of parameters can be changed by the 3 pots on the Memory Delay. To access these parameters, you hold down the SELECT button (as if to save the patch). The display will now flash & the Parameter Indicator LED will change to highlight the second row of parameters. Here you can adjust the overall volume level as well as the tone of the delayed signal.
